Delayed as Usual

Mom: I can't believe that it's been two weeks since I last updated this blog for the boys.
L: Well I can believe it. You've been going to bed early, sleeping in until 6:45 . . .
Mom: What does that have to do with why I've haven't updated?
D: I think what Linus is trying to say, Mom, is that you've been acting weird the past few days.
L: Yeah. You're not mad when you get home. You don't look tired.
D: You're been dressing nicer...
L: And you play with us more.
D: And give us belly raspberries.
Mom: Well, I do feel happier.
L: That's good because when you're happy, we're happy.
D: And very full. *burp*
L: So what changed?
Mom: Well I actually do something with my time when I'm away from home.
L: Like sleep?
D: Or are you eating more Fruit Loops?
L: Or maybe she sleeping in a fleece hanging tube?
D: No, no, no. She's eating more veggies. I really like corn.
L: Darby, we all like corn. But I think she's just getting more sleep...
Mom: Well I'll let these two figure it out.
D: No! She has more energy because of fruit not fleece!
Mom: As I said before, time had gotten away from me. I will try to get the boys out a little more and see what happens in the next few weeks. *hint, hint* Dad and I are going somewhere for Thanksgiving and the boys will have to stay somewhere else. But they don't know yet.
L: Mom why are you typing really quietly?
Mom: Oh, nothing. Just making sure I don't misspell anything.
D: I still think it's because of food.
L: Darby give it up already. Mom is getting more sleep and that's final.
Mom: *shakes head and smiles* Good night for now.
